The monster pondered for a bit before answering the Raven, "This is... nothing... compared to my... bones..." she answered before following his gaze towards the girl, she could only nod at his request. She watched her stand up and walk over to the girl, sticking the Rose down to the ground. Both waited for the girl to raise her head, and when she did her eyes sparkled in awe. "Hey!" she mused as she sat down and picked the Rose out of the ground. "I actually did it! Dad will be so proud- Dad!" she quickly stood up and went to the person whom assumed to her father, the Unicorn God. The God looked at her in disgust but never the less humored the girl for a little bit.
"Dad look, I made something! Kinda looks like Mom doesn't it?" she asked with the smile, but the God said otherwise. "I have to go, I have important matters to attend." he said before walking past by the little girl, however she refuse to let go.
"But Dad I-"
"Do not disturb me!"
The girl flinched and stepped away from her father as he glared down at her. "I... I'm sorry." she could only say as she held on to the Rose close to her chest and look down to her bare feet. The God scoffed and walked away only to meet his other pure children, smiling at them, giving them the attention that she wanted. She could only sigh as she watch them go together with them. It broke her heart, but she shook her head and forced herself to smile. "I know, I'll show this to Mom. I know she'll love it!" and with that she skipped away.

you think I'm showy but i'm not at all So I could interact with the memories..? Interesting...
I smiled and watched the girl pick the rose, running off to show her father...that was her dad? That prick?? Really?? Just look at the disdain when he glanced at Danny! How he shrugged her off like nothing! How her siblings got all the love..! How she was left alone, unloved and uncared for...because of what she was... It was...it...was... "...Ow." I didn't even realize I had my hands clenched until my skin broke. I really needed to get my nails trimmed sometime... "...Keh. She doesn't deserve you anyways."
Danny then skipped off, looking as happy as she could be. Hm...I glanced back towards the unicorn. "...Rest up, I'll be back soon. I just want to look around a bit. Yell if you need me." And then I went after Danny.

The monster could only watch the memory unfold, she had seen this so many times. But this was the first time she saw how happy the little girl was even if she was brushed off my her own father. The monster nodded, "Be... back soon..." she spoke before laying her head against the ground and sighed. Finally. Peace.
Curious the Raven was, he followed the little girl running towards the cave. The cave was coated with Gold, like honey in a bee hive. A woman who was covered in gold, eyes covered with a golden silk blindfold with a gold gown looked down when she heard her daughter happily humming back to their 'home'. Her eyes brighten when she spotted her Demon mother, quickly she ran towards her and reached out, handing the flower to her. "Mom look, I made a Rose! Like the ones you made!" she said eagerly as she pointed a vase full of golden roses.
The Mother sneered and slapped the rose out of her hand, "What did I tell you about going out?!" her voice echoed to the cave. The little girl looked horrified, "But Mom I went to see D-" her hand came in contact to her small cheek. She fell down from the sudden physical contact, she stared at her mother as the Demon gasped. "My Doll, I am so sorry... Come we have to fix you up." she said, harshly grabbing her wrist as she pulled her deep to the cave. The little girl began to protest, looking back at the yellow rose. She tries to reach for it but it was too far away.
Deep in the cave, more gold was there. Coins, accessories, dresses, and many more. "Here wear this." said the mother as she pulled a flamboyant dress for her daughter and began dressing her up. "M... Mom it's too tight..." she whined, "Dolls don't talk. Zip your mouth, girl." she stayed silent as her mother began to fix her up. Adding accessories to her hair, neck, fingers and wrists. She looked at her daughter in awe before picking her up in her arms and placing her to a throne seat. "There, now you're perfect. Wait, where's that smile?" asked the Demon.
"But I'm not... Happy..."
Her mother laughed, "Who cares if you're not happy? Nobody will notice if you are sad anyways. So s m i l e."
The little girl was shaking, but forced herself to smile.
"There we go! My perfect little Doll."
If only they saw, how the tears silently runs down from her eyes.
What will you do, Raven? (a) Take the Withered Rose. (b) Go Back. (c) Inspect the Gold Cave.

you think I'm showy but i'm not at all "I will, don't worry."
Danny ran off towards some sort of cave. Why was it all...oh, that was gold. Just what kind of family does Danny come from? She was a unicorn obviously- or part unicorn at the very least. You know, she was probably an illuvian of sorts now that I thought about it. Last I checked Unicorns didn't have as much magical power as Danny had...
I stood by the mouth of the cave, leaned up against the wall intently watching the two. Her mother looked quite regal and refined. It reminded me of the Maiden from earlier...wait, wasn't that another fear apparition? And if it looked like her mother-- "Hey!" I stepped forward, shadows shifting and writhing behind me. That wretch, how dare she?? I raised my arm, ready to protect Danny but...this was a memory. Nothing I done here would help. So I lowered my arm and stuffed my hands into my pocket. God forbid I ever see her parents in town...
Watching the rest of it play out was hard. How dare they. How dare anyone. I grumbled under my breath, cursing whoever thought this thread was a good idea. Why do I have to go through this? Seeing my friends suffering and not being able to do anything about it...and I can't even do anything with the info! This timelines Damian won't remember me and I was terrified that Danny would hate me if she knew I was here...
As I walked out of the cave, I kneeled down and picked up the rose, tucking it behind my ear again.

The Raven swore vengeance to the creator whom had brought him here. Patience my dear, you will soon. As the Raven walked out of the golden cave, night has befallen the memory. The child walked pass Corbin, she was wearing her white dress with a yellow shawl around her body. She looked back to the cave, waiting for her mother to come out. When she didn't the little girl gave a small sigh of relief before laughing as she ran off. The Raven will follow for sure, as he had been doing for quite some time now. As he followed, the little girl entered a church. There was a mass going on even at this late and a few people still come in.
Quietly the girl, went upstairs. She pulled her shawl down and sat down to one of the staircase, listening happily to the homily of the Priest as they talk about love. Oh how the girl loved the word love and what it meant, propping her elbows against her knees and palms against her cheek. She looked content, even if her parents never showed her love, she was still hopeful about them and perhaps one day they will love her for who she is. As the priest began talking about True Love, her eyes sparkled with interest. Maybe...
Slowly, she rose up and went outside of the church.
What will you do, Raven? (a) Follow the Girl to the Roof. (b) Stay. (c) Go Outside.

you think I'm showy but i'm not at all I stepped out of the cave, rubbing my eyes to try and adjust them to the dark. Just how long had I been in there..? Or was this a new memory... Judging by the girl who just ran past me, this was new.
I quickly followed her through the forest and to the church...this wasn't Diego's church, was it? No, couldn't be...I hope not. Wouldn't that be a fun surprise. Danny ran inside and I hesitantly followed suit. I hated churches. Their constant threats of damnation, their constant judgement and hypocrisy...but this time they were talking about something different. About love... I sat down beside Danny and listened.
...I must've dozed off. Next thing I knew the stairs beside me creaked and I could hear Danny run to the roof...the roof of all places? Curiosity got the better of me and I followed her up.

The two went to the roof, the girl was on the edge as she huddled her hands close to her chest. "Hmm, let's see..." she mumbled to herself as she tilt her head to her side. "I wish... For a King... Yeah! Wait no..." she trailed off as she covered the kindled fire on her palm as she tap her chin with her fingers. "Oh, what about a Prince Charming? Like those novels I've heard. Must be nice when someone is looking for you..." she sighed dreamily as she look up to the sky. "Wait, I think a friend will do... Yeah! But then... Mother might not approve... hmm... think Doll, think..." she tapped her temple as she think of something really hard. Then she snapped her fingers, "Oh I think I know what I want." she cleared her throat as she raise her palms to the sky along with the fire in it.
"I wish for an Angel. An angel who will protect me, someone who will make me happy and make me feel not alone. Someone... Someone who will like me... for me." she smiled, bringing the fire close to her heart she closed her heart. "And I hope... The Angel will love me very much as a whole. That's my wish!" she said before blowing the fire away to the sky. She watched the fire follow the wind while she waved her hand, "I hope you come back with the Angel!" she said.
The church bell rang, she snapped her head up before running back inside and taking her shawl. Before the Raven could even follow their was a loud neigh in the distance, "Corbin! We have to go, she broke inside the memory!" the monster said, followed by a loud shriek.
What will you do, Raven? (a) Go Back to the Church. (b) Run Away. (c) Fight the Golden Maiden.

you think I'm showy but i'm not at all What was she doing..? I stood in the doorway, arms crossed over my chest as I quietly watched her. She was wishing for a prince charming...that was absolutely adorable. I wonder if she ever got her wish? A Prince to sweep her off her feet, someone to look after her... ...Hold on. Angel? Like...what the Unicorn called me..? That...couldn't be right. That was a coincidence. No correlation at all. I wasn't an angel I was far from it. Just look at all the problems I keep getting Danny involved with! She doesn't deserve a fallen angel like me... "I hope you get your wish too.." I quietly sighed.
I watched her run back inside, and I actually was about to follow, but the neighing caught my attention. "What-- Hold on, I'm coming!" How did she break in?? Shit, I should've went back and checked on her! I lept off the roof, shifting into a raven and flying as fast as I could. Once I was close to the fray, I shifted into my true form and landed on the ground with a loud thud. Not a moment after shadows shot out, aiming to restrain the Maiden and her sword. I hope I wasn't late, please don't let me be late-

The monster came running to the Raven as she picked him up using her magic. The weight gave more pain as she winced in pain loudly, but she pressed on, hoping that they can outrun the Maiden with her sword. As they ran past memory per memory, the clouds began to turn red, ashes covered the skies, how it smelled like molten gold and blood and ash, how the little girl was starving to death and had no choice but to eat flesh, how she managed to survive all her own and felt lonely and how scared she was by herself. These memories were the ones that molded the girl whom the Raven considered as a friend, how she was tormented by her own people and father alike, how her mother treated her as an object instead of a daughter, how she was barely hanging on to her own hopes and dreams.
Both got out of the large memory room only for the monster to fall down to the ground immediately. Looking back, the Maiden had removed her blindfold, it showed purple angry eyes as she glared at the two. "You... You! How dare you brought a flawed creature in this mind!" screamed the Maiden as she stabbed the monster on her stomach. If the Raven should attempt to fight it, the Maiden will only win, for it was her own mind and how strong her fear for being flawed. Golden bars separated the Raven away from the two, as the Maiden pulled her sword out she pointed it to her chest. "I knew I should have killed you the moment I saw you trying to fix everything." she raised her blade, ready to kill her Hopes and Dreams.
What will you do, Raven? (a) Give the Withered Rose. (b) Run. (c) Save the Unicorn.

you think I'm showy but i'm not at all "I don't want to fight you, just put the weapon down and--" Landing was pointless; I was just picked up again. What did she think she was doing? Trying to run from the Maiden and carry me?? I admired her determination but why?? I shifted back into my human form, trying all I could to slow the maiden down. It didn't seem like it was working.
I kept trying to keep the maiden away, but as we went further and further I kept getting more and more distracted by the memories. Of all of her torment and suffering, of every single unjust thing done to her. Why did she have to go through all of this? Though any of this?? Soon enough it ended, but we were out of the frying pan and into the fire. The Unicorn collapsed, dropping me in the process. I should've been ready to go, in the few moments I was on the ground the Maiden managed to stab the Unicorn clean in the gut.
Fighting was useless. Every thing I tried to do to stop her was reflected and destroyed, nothing could touch the apparition. This was her domain after all. "Waitwaitwait-- Danny! Hold on a second!" I couldn't do anything, not without my magic and not with these bars in the way. I could run? That was an option- a better one than watching Dannys mind rip itself apart?? Would she know I ran? Would she even know anything happened? ...A rose petal fell beside my foot. Right, I still had that, didn't I? Yellow roses...
I thrust my arm through the bars, holding the rose towards the Maiden. "I...I-I'm not...anything you deserve. But...y...you...you're still...flawless to me..." I'm an absolute fool.

The Golden Maiden shook her head furiously, raising the blade even higher. "That's not my name!" she shrieked even louder, the halls began to shake, break and fall apart. The angels were crying, the paintings were melting, darkness began to consume the mind of the demon for Perfection was eating her alive. The Raven reached out, holding the withered Rose in hand. The Maiden stared at him, watching him carefully before he spoke up. The darkness stopped, everything stopped when the Golden Maiden placed her sword beside her as she walk towards the Raven. The rim of her eyes were puffy and red, blood tears dried down to her face. She stared at the Rose for a moment, the sword clamored against the stained floor, bars coming down as she reach for the Rose with her wounded hand. Everything is for Perfection, suffer for beauty.
Taking the Rose carefully, she looked at the Raven, she had suffered so much... "Go... please... leave this place..." she whispered as she placed her other hand to his cheek. She immediately dropped to her knees, crying as she held the Rose gently to her chest. Was this enough? Was this enough to be perfect? No... Was this enough to forgive herself? For the horror she had done to reach perfection? To please her mother?
While the Raven left the two personification of her mind, a single door appeared at the end of the hall. Who could it be? Your quest ends here, Raven. Meet her creator and you shall be rewarded.
"Please, take a seat." said the Creator, Dys, smiling at him with flowers covering her eyes like the appearance she chose to be presented. She pointed at the chair in front of her, "Tea, perhaps?"
What will you do, Raven? (a) Sit down. (b) Do not. (c) Ask away.

you think I'm showy but i'm not at all I'm a god damned fool. I should've booked it when I had the chance! Why did I have to care so much?? I knew it was going to be the death of me one of these days! Would anyone know if I died here? Or, better question, would anyone care. I closed my eyes and readied myself for the end... ...That never came. Instead, I heard the sword drop and the Maiden walk closer. I slowly opened my eyes, breathing a sigh of relief when she took the flower. One of these days my luck was going to run out, but I guess it wasn't today. So I gave the Maiden a slight nod and headed towards the open door.
From a distance it looked like the exit, but as I got closer I realized that wasn't exactly. true. Who was that..? She felt familiar but at the same time...she didn't? Who was this...no. It couldn't be. It couldn't be! "What a pleasant surprise this is..." I grumbled through a smile, stepping into the room and shutting the door behind me. I knew if I tried anything I wasn't going to win, so I pulled out the chair and sat down. ...It was so...weird seeing her like this, especially after that botched summoning. My best guess was that she was here to punish me for my sins and follys, for tossing her friends into this living hell. "...Sure. Why not. I'm always down for some bitter almond tea."

The creator smiled as she snapped her fingers, "Granted." she said, as two sets of cup appeared to the small table as she placed her hands back to her lap. The smile was kept, her mind was empty for it was the memory of the demon mind. "Thank you." she said, as she brought the tea close to her lips. "For fixing her, and I won't lie to you. I had given up hope for her. She was suppose to be an informant broker, the one who will betray the most. Worst, she was suppose to be working for Midas." she explained she a sighed, placing the cup back to its saucer. She looked up to him, "Why? What made her so... special?" she asked.

you think I'm showy but i'm not at all Was the bitch actually trying to poison me?? Or was she just stun? Either way I just ever so slightly pushed the cup away.
"You do know you could've done all of this yourself, right? Take a few hours, sit down, brainstorm...doing productive things won't actually kill you." I rested my head in my hands, intently staring the Player down. "I don't know, she's a friend and I try to take care of my friends? You really shouldn't be surprised by that little fact, how many threads of mine have you read by now?" ...How many threads have I even done? It had to be a lot considering my "popularity" with the Players... Player? Right, there was just one actual Player left, wasn't there..? And here she was...right in front of me...it'd be so easy to end this here and now. No one would have to know.
I shifted in my seat, straightening myself out and placing my hands on the table. Humans were fragile. A single cut to the wrong place and bam... "...About Nathan." It didn't feel right. Was it because of the summoning? Seeing Ginger and Inu so terrified and helpless? Seeing them...human..? Fuck, empathy was the work of the devil... "He's your character, right? What does he want with Ginger? Why did he take her?"

She just smiled, as monkshoods replaced the crown in her eyes, then white roses replaced everything. "I'm doing the Devil's work, bird. I won't lie, it gets pretty boring when you're playing the Villain. In fact, I wasn't suppose to do... any of this. Powerful characters? Got their own motives and such." she shrugged as she leaned back to her seat as the Raven leaned a little closer. She raised an eyebrow, now that's an ask she wasn't expecting. She hummed to herself before straightening herself on her sit. "Of course. He is but, my masterpiece. He's been hiding in the shadows for 3 years. I didn't have time to create his profile ever since the summoning happened." she paused, taking a deep breath. She stood up as she began walking somewhere else. "He wasn't suppose to take Ginger. He was suppose to take me. He was going to squeeze some information about Caelum and the others considering he doesn't have Wallbreaker. But seeing the two had a heated conversation because of me wanting to save them, I broke a few rules for them. She didn't like it. So, I let Nathan decide what he wanted to do with her. He saved her, thankfully, he isn't the kind of monster that Caelum ended up with." she answered.
There, she leaded him to the real exit, but before he could go, she tapped his arm. "Before you go, I want you to have something. It's for free." she said. The right hand had the same Yellow Rose that he had been carrying around, and the other resembled the fire that the little girl sent to the sky.
