Halls as high as the skies, painted with angels and old Renaissance paintings that covered the white walls. Where the light came from was unknown, but it shone brightly, pridefully showing the halls of the Demon Mind. Gold pillars standing proudly between each golden doors. Vines growing to the pillars, blooming with different kinds of flowers, yet mostly yellow roses-complimenting the hues of the mindscape. Like Golden doors, there are doors that are made out of white marble, broken, melted with gold in hopes that it will hold itself together.
What will you do, Raven? (a) Open Gold Door. (b) Inspect the Halls. (c) Go Deeper.

you think I'm showy but i'm not at all Where..? Who... ...What??
I blinked a few times, glancing around the ornate hall. I don't remember coming here. Who's Dreamscape even was this..? Ornate gold and marble, paintings and angels, and...vines. Those looked familiar. Was...no, it couldn't be Dannys. Why would I be here? Didn't Dys already have her fun?
I walked around the area, getting a closer look at the ornate decor on the pillars and the doors. I always open a door to confirm my suspicions..? No, I hated doing that. It felt like a breach of privacy to the extreme. Instead I headed down the hall to see what else was there, to see if there was an obvious reason to why I was here.

Woe to the bird, as he choose not to pry to the mind of the demon and choose to inspect the halls furthermore. Faint music coming to one of the porcelain doors, then it grew louder as he ventures on. Besides the symphony of the instruments, there was a light footsteps hitting the floor. Then, a small girl appeared. Red hair, fair skin and big red eyes. She stared at him, quietly, cautiously before running away.
What will you do, Raven? (a) Open the Porcelain Door. (b) Follow the Girl. (c) Go Deeper.

you think I'm showy but i'm not at all Although I hated being in peoples dreamscapes, I had to admit this place was hauntingly beautiful. The colours, the atmosphere...the music? Huh. As I continued down the hallway I managed to pinpoint the sounds to a specific door. Violins and harps and, curiously enough, footsteps, echoed out from behind the door.
Should I..? Shouldn't I...should I..? My hand hovered over the doorknob...no, I shouldn't, if this was anything like Damians Mindscape opening these doors would be a mistake. I was better off continuing on and... "Hello?" I paused in my tracks when I saw the child. Was she part of the mindscape? Or something else... "Hey, wait a moment--" The kid ran before I could do anything. I thought for a moment before heading after the kid. I could always come back to these doors if need be...

The Raven followed the lost little girl with a question in mind. By a route obscure and lonely, haunted by the ill angels only. As he continue to follow, the girl tried to reach for the doorknob with the doors of gold. Struggling, toes on point as her fingers barely touch the golden knob. A sad sigh, she was about to give up and turn away only to see the stranger with ringed eyes, like how the rings circled the planet Saturn. She could only stare.
What will you do, Raven? (a) Help her open the Door. (b) Ask Her. (c) Ignore Her.

you think I'm showy but i'm not at all This place was like a labyrinth. I followed the girl, trying to keep the path in mind. Did it really matter? Probably not, but if I considered where I appeared the "entrance" then at least it would make exploring a bit easier. I slowed down, watching the kid reach and try to open one of the many doors. Why that one..? Maybe that was my answer.
"Curious about this door?" I gave the kid a smile, kneeling down to her height. She was a pretty cute kid now that I got a better look at her. Still wanted to know what she was doing, though... I glanced between the door and the kid. I really didn't want to do this, but why else would there be a random kid in this mindscape if not for a guiding sign? ...Or a red herring. Hopefully a sign. "I am too. Here, let me." I stood up, gently moving the girl out of the way, and hesitantly opened the door.

Ode to the Raven, for he was kind and precious. Crouching down to her level, she shyly looked down as she clutch unto her white dress. Then, she nodded slowly before the stranger stood up and moved her away from the door. He twist the doorknob and pushed it open. The room revealed to be a dance recital studio, the one person alone. She was dancing with her ballet shoes, on her toes as she gracefully dance along with the faint beat coming from the speakers of her phone. Black Swan.
As they saw a glimpse of her face, it was none other than the girl whom claimed to be the owner of the Mindscape. Danny.
She gave more spin, watching herself as she does to correct every flaw she makes. She aims for perfection. As the song ended, she gave her final pose. Arms stretched out like a swan, body flexing backward. Then, came a heavy sigh, "I think that'll do. I've been dancing here for weeks now." she muttered to herself as she happily gave herself a pat on the shoulder. "Can't wait for the actual dance!" she chirped before sitting down and removing her shoes.
The memory ended. And it was time for the girl to hop on to the next memory with curiosity.
What will you do, Raven? (a) Follow the Girl. (b) Go back to the previous Door. (c) Stay for a while.

you think I'm showy but i'm not at all I was ready to see something gruesome and horrible. Instead I got to see something quite nice.
I leaned up against the door frame and watched the memory play out. So my suspicions were correct; this was Dannys mindscape. For better or for worse, really. It meant that if I went too far back then I'd see things I'd never want to see...but this place seemed a lot more put together than Damians, so did that mean there was less trauma? ...Or was there any correlation to that at all..?
"She's quite the dancer...so what's your connection with her-- Hey? Kid?" I glanced down and around, eventually catching sight of girl down the hall. Hm. Curious. I took a final look into the room before closing the door and following the girl. "I'd appreciate it if you waited for me?"

Follow the little girl, as chosen by the Raven. The little footsteps faintly echoed to the halls along with the heavy ones produced by his truly. The girl turned around to her new friend, and raised her hand towards him- offering her hand for him to hold. As they walk together, the doors had large spacing to other neighboring doors. Unlike the first hall, where it was neatly organized, the part of this hall was less... perfect. The pillars had cracks on it, but the vines were covering it, in hopes that the flaw of it is never seen by another eye. Some doors are opened, and some were bordered shut by gold chains and vines.
The girl pointed to one of the opened doors, there were faint cries inside of it. She looked up, waiting for the Raven to move.

you think I'm showy but i'm not at all I smiled and took the girls hand, letting her lead me down the hallways.... So, you know how I wondered whether or not there was a correlation to the state of the mindscape to the memories within? I think there was a correlation. As we went deeper, things got more...messy. The vines were more prominent here, covering doors and hiding cracks. Some of the non-covered doors were cracked open. An invitation or a trap, I wondered.
The kid kept leading me until she stopped outside of an open door. Through the crack I could hear cries of some sort. Cries of pain? Cries of sorrow? ... "I'm sorry kid." I sighed, giving her arm a gentle tug as I started walking off. "Some things are better left unseen, you know?" Now, which way did we come from..? ...That way, I think. That looked about right. "Come on, before curiosity gets the better of me."

Ignored the request of the little girl, the two ventured deeper. And deeper. And dę̵e̸̛p҉͏e̢ŗ͠.͠ The once white walls painted with angels were fading to blackness, pillars threatening to fall down to the floor and crush them, doors scorched, withering flowers and vines, air smelled like blood and ash. Curiosity will kill the bird, if he comes to close to the candle lit fire. It was noisy, each door had their own pattern of noises. But all had the same distinct noises, the neighing of horses, men screaming, child crying. A door was barely open.
What will you do, Raven? (a) Open the Door. (b) Open the Door. (c) O͡p͢͞e̕n̷͞ ́͞t͜he̛͡ D̢҉oor̴̴̵.

you think I'm showy but i'm not at all This was the wrong way. This was the absolute wrong way and I am an absolute fool! As the hallway got more dark and broken, I picked up the girl and carried her in my arms. If anything was lurking about, we were ready to bolt.
"Sorry, kid, I shouldn't have taken this way." I murmured, carefully treading down the hall lest the movement triggered an avalanche...but maybe that was the least of the worries here. I could hear muffled noises from behind the doors. Screams and cries and all around chaos. What had happened..? No, I can't. I couldn't, I shouldn't, I wouldn't--
I found myself standing in front of an ajar door. It was a bad idea. Danny was my friend, and this was her private life! ...But...what happened..? Would this help explain what Nathan said? Would this explain the rage she showed? Or would this turn me away from her..? "...Stay here for a moment, please..?" I put the kid down and stepped forward, slowly pushing the door open.
Curiosity killed the corvid, but will satisfaction bring it back...?

He carried the little girl in his arms, apologizing for the mistake that he had made. The girl good only shake her head and place their chin on top of their shoulder, arms around his neck. The Raven was given no choice but to open the door, he placed the girl down the burnt tiles, telling her to wait for him. She stared at him but nevertheless sat down looked the other way. It's like she knew... The Raven pushed the door open, enough for the smoke to come out of the room.
There, it revealed a forest. Burning, animals running away, women screaming for help, men hunting the Unicorn that was in front of the Raven. Behind the Unicorn, their was a dead girl. Brown short hair with a blue dress, eyes lifeless. The Unicorn was looked... different, her skin were white to almost transparent, showing the very bones of her form, the bones made out of gold- the very thing that can kill gods, and herself. Her mane was stained in blood, matching her bright ruby eyes. And finally, a spiked golden halo that dug deep to her temples, her horn.
She backed away from the angry mob that she was facing, she neighed, in hopes that they will listen to her. She looked back at the dead girl, then back to them shaking her head in fear.
"No! I didn't kill her! I was prote-"
"It can speak! It's the Devil! It ate the child so it can rule the earth!" screamed by a man, they pointed their weapons at her, throwing looped ropes to her head. She shrieked as it started to strangle her when she tried to pull away. "No, please! This is a mistake! You have to listen to me, please I'll fix this I promise!" it was too late, they charged with weapon in hand. Cutting her, Stabbing her, ruining her. She couldn't take the pain anymore, but she didn't want to fight.
"Stop!"
Gold spikes came out of the earth, fire bursting out from the wounded Unicorn, killing all the angry men one by one. Some were impaled, some caught with fire and some died with melted gold dripping down to them. "Wait! I didn't mean to! I... I..." she looked around in horror, tears in her eyes. She could've done something to save them... But they won't listen to her... Why won't they listen to her?
The memory faded. The girl stood up, tugging on Corbin's shirt.
What will you do, Raven? (a) Go Back. (b) Talk to the Kid. (c) Go Deeper.

you think I'm showy but i'm not at all I done nothing but watch the memory.
I could do nothing but watch the memory.
The angry mob, the genocide, and poor Danny...
Was that why she got mad? How Nathan got to her?
...How much did my stubbornness remind her of this..?
...
"Gah--! Ha, Kid..." The pulling pulled me out of my thoughts- and frightened the living hell out of me. "Warn me next time?"
I bent down and scooped her up into my arms again. If I held her then I wouldn't be tempted to open any more doors.
"...You know, something about being able to connect the dots between the past and present is the worst." I quietly mused, looking up and down the hall, trying to remember which way was which. "Makes me feel like a dick too at times...worst part is that if I try and apologize for anything, then Danny would know I was here. And, while I didn't come here myself, being here without permission just feels...wrong..? ...Hm. Do you know which way we came from, Kid? ...Do you even have a name while I'm thinking of it? ...Who even are you..."

The child stayed silent for a while, before pointing the directions to get out this part of the mind. Quietly, she whispered, her voice was broken and a little pitched, "Her." she answered. Fortunately for them, they got out of the worst part of her past. But that doesn't mean the torment she went through stops there, no, rather, they were going somewhere else. The floor was stained, angels were there on the walls, but they looked like they were watching them. Silently, curiously, cautiously. The child began to wiggle herself out of the Raven's arms before running down the halls, the pool of blood grew, almost becoming a puddle, staining the child's feet.
As she waited for him to catch up, she pointed out. The same Unicorn that the Raven saw, chained up with gold, joints were purposely spiked to prevent it from moving. It was weak, heavily breathing and thin. It laid its head on the bloody floor, looking at the two strangers with stained-tear eyes. It looked tired. The girl looked up to the Raven, before showing the knife in her hand. "Kill it?" she asked.
What will you do, Raven? (a) Take the Knife. (b) S̡a̡͠v̧̛́e ̨H͏͡͞e̢̨̢r̶̕͜.̵͢
