Renai loves magic and all it's kind, so she spends a lot of time buying charms and magical items, this obsession with magic might have something to do with her missing father who Fiona does not mention a lot and her siblings Peggy, Mary, Marty & Gary have no memory of.

It's especially weird since Mary & Gary, who are not in Gravity Falls due to being in college, were most likely young enough to remember their missing father, however Renai does have one memory of her father before he left, she was on a beach as a toddler and her father, who's appearance was unknown even in Renai's memory gave her a seashell necklace.

Either way, Renai want's to know the fate of her father, with or without magic or with friends, Renai is popular wherever she goes due to her personality, however, unlike her siblings, she's not a big fan of popularity and thinks that whoever has an obsession with her are stalkers.

Maybe when she is magical she could deal with people like them.
